A Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Brager is Fellowship trained and specializes in Sports Medicine. He received a B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, and his M.D. from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed a general surgery internship and an orthopedic surgery residency at the Orlando Regional HealthCare System. Dr. Brager then completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Colorado, where he subsequently practiced as an assistant professor of orthopedics and served as a team physician for both the University of Colorado and the University of Denver sports teams. He has also been extensively involved in caring for high school athletes and is presently a team physician for the Southern Michigan Timberwolves, a local semi-professional football team. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American College of Sports Medicine and a delegate to the Wayne County Medical Society. Dr. Brager has been providing orthopedic care at the Orthopedic Institute of Michigan since its inception in 2003 and enjoys treating athletes of all levels.
Dr. Brager performs surgery out of William Beaumont Hospital, St Mary Mercy Hospital, Providence Park Hospital and Detroit Medical Center Hospitals.
