Dr. Robert Salamon

Dr. Salamon is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. He performs knee and hip joint replacement, fracture care, and arthroscopy surgery. Dr. Salamon grew up and attended school in Detroit and is a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School. He interned at Harbor General Hospital in Torrance, California, and then served active duty in the U.S. Army at Fort Lee, Virginia and Fort Sheridan, Illinois. After his internship he worked as a family practitioner for seven years. Dr. Salamon completed his orthopedic residency at Boston University and Mt. Carmel Mercy Hospital in Detroit. Since 1980, he has been providing orthopedic care in the Livonia area. Throughout his practice, Dr. Salamon has built a fine reputation in the professional community. Many of his colleagues seek his advice because of his expertise and he also shares a genuine, down-to-earth, rapport with his patients..
Dr. Salamon performs surgery out of Sinai-Grace Hospital and Providence Hospital.
