The Orthopedic Institute of Michigan

Meet the physicians of the Orthopedic Institute of Michigan

The Orthopedic Institute of Michigan is a group of board-certified surgeons with a wide range of expertise in the orthopedic field. Our practice was created in 2003 by combining the practices of Dr. Robert Salamon and Dr. Elie Khoury, two experienced orthopaedic surgeons well-established in the local community. Dr. Michael Brager joined the group in 2004 from Colorado and fellowship-trained. The Orthopedic Institute offers a beautiful, newly constructed state-of-the art office with on-site digital radiography and physical therapy. We have the ability to give comprehensive orthopedic care for conditions such as fractures, arthritis, and sports and work-related musculoskeletal injuries. We perform arthroscopic and total joint replacement surgeries in the shoulder, hip, knee and elbow just to name a few. In addition, our skilled surgeons have obtained additional fellowship training in the fields of Sports Medicine and Pediatrics.

In addition to performing surgery at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, we also have privileges and operate in the Providence (Novi and Southfield locations) and Beaumont systems.

We would be pleased to take care of all you orthopedic needs. Please contact out office and let you well-trained staff make an appointment for you today.
